Can I stay in my home during the renovation?
Often, yes. For a partial renovation we phase the work and seal off the areas being worked on. For a full renovation, or when kitchens and bathrooms are out of use, moving out for a period is usually easier and faster.
How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the size of the property and how much is being changed. A single kitchen or bathroom is far quicker than a full remodel. We share a programme with your quotation and update it as the work moves forward.
What if you find hidden problems once work starts?
It happens in older buildings. We stop, show you the issue and price the repair in writing before continuing.
Can you remove or move walls?
Yes, once we have confirmed which walls carry load. Structural changes are checked by our engineers and properly supported before any demolition.
Do I need approval for renovation work?
Internal upgrades usually need none, but extensions, additional floors and changes to the elevation may need permission from your housing society or development authority. We advise on this at the survey stage.
Can I keep my existing fittings and furniture?
Yes. We note what you want to keep during the survey, protect or store it during the work and build it into the new design.
